Sri Lanka wildlife photography

Where the jungle reveals itself - one frame, story, moment, secret at a time.

Kelaya (කැලය) means jungle in Sinhala. This site is Indika Hettiarachchi's archive of Sri Lankan wildlife: leopards, birds, elephants, and field notes from parks across the island, plus private trip planning for guests from overseas.

Plan a Sri Lanka wildlife trip

Three simple steps to start

Choose a focus, look through the archive, then send a short brief. That is enough for a clear first reply.

01

Choose a focus

Leopards, birding, elephants, or a mixed photography week. One clear priority makes parks and season easier to match.

02

Look through the gallery

See the style of work, the parks Indika visits, and the kind of light and pace he builds into a day.

03

Send a brief

Share dates, group size, and what you most want to see. Replies usually come within one to two days.
